Dan Brown, the 52-year old American author who introduced his character, Robert Langdon, Professor of Religious Iconology and Symbology at Harvard University, to the world in The Da Vinci Code (2003) will be releasing his fifth book of the Robert Langdon Series in September 2017. Titled “Origin”, the book is expected to have what Angels & Demons, The Lost Symbol, and Inferno had – thrills, conspiracy theories and the use of ancient, historic and religious codes, symbols, and architecture in ways unimaginable.

According to publisher Doubleday, the book will consist of the iconic suspense, thrill, and mystery that surrounds Langdon as he deciphers codes and solves mysterious by using religious and cultural buildings, people and places as a point of reference. Also part of Origin will be symbols, science, codes, architecture, and history.

According to the publisher, “Origin thrusts Harvard symbologist Langdon into the dangerous intersection of humankind’s two most enduring questions, and the earth-shaking discovery that will answer them.”

Not much is yet known about the story of Origin, which is good news for Brown’s loyal fans for they want to experience the thrill and suspense while reading the book without knowing any spoilers beforehand. However, readers expect that Origin will include Robert Langdon facing odds from his antagonists while solving the mystery that will keep the reader’s attention glued to the pages.
